The most disheartening experience to go through in this transient life, is to go without God and His Spirit to guide us. It seems that the world as we once knew has ceased to exist from a normal perspective. And all we have before us are the Covid-19 Pandemic, natural disasters, systemic racism, and a looming recession that has touched the entire globe. WHAT IS GOD SAYING TO THE GOVERNMENTS OF THE WORLD? I always tell folks that what we have presented before us, is what we’ve brought upon ourselves; SIN! SIN IS TO BLAME! For years we’ve been ignoring the voice of God through His word to reform and change. Hence, the full brunt of His wrath upon the gay lifestyles, womanizing, hypocritical wickedness by church folks has presumably reached it’s boxtop. Not to mention the bloodshed that has characterized the Commonwealth of the Bahamas for years, and worldwide for that matter. And let’s not forget the the Neo Atheism that have taken social media by storm by so many young people being bamboozled by Satan. Nobody wants to believe in God whom they claim to can’t see, but at the same time relishes in every type of sin unimaginable. We have betrayed the LORD God that has brought us out from the tyranny slavery and colonialism, my Bahamas. The ONLY reason why Covid-19 is here is because God permitted it to to be here. The ONLY reason why millions have loss their jobs is because God permitted it to happen. We must recognize that God is sovereign and is in control of everything. Nothing happens in this world that catches God by surprise. 2 Chronicles 7:13-14, ” If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among My people; If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. ” Notice that the SCRIPTURE emphatically, and deliberately outlined that IT IS GOD that sent the drought. It is GOD that sent the locusts. It is GOD that sent the pestilence. Now the question is what should be our attitude towards God? The world is in crisis mode, and is going through a plethora of socioeconomic, and natural disasters daily. Hundreds of thousands have died of corona virus, while millions have loss jobs worldwide. I do believe that REPENTANCE is the only REMEDY for the world. And that would include us here in the Commonwealth of the Bahamas. The word “TREACHERY” means betrayal, and that’s exactly what we’ve done to the LORD God. We have betrayed Him by embracing a life of sinfulness and wickedness. It’s time to REPENT and to get back to the discarded values of the past. God is coming and He is coming for a prepared people. REPENT!!!
