The past week or so we’ve been bombarded with a plethora of nations being infected with COVID-19 or the Coronavirus. The world is in a state of a pandemic, which has literally brought nations to a state of emergency worldwide.
The United States of America has been shutting down national events and organizations, such as the NBA, MLB, and other major events.
I, Keith Evans have never seen such a time as we have in the past four or five years. Hurricane Dorian which by far was the most devastating storm in the history of our nation. It felt like an apocalyptic movie such as a zombie film or some last day film.
And now we are confronted head-on with the coronavirus, which is literally a pandemic affecting nations such as the USA, China, Italy, Great Britain, and others. It is even in our nation as one reported case was diagnosed in New Providence.
The caveat to this is that no vaccine is in the foreseeable future is being made. God is indeed calling for us to REPENT!!!
The secular humanistic cultures have taken over societies with transgenderism, homosexualities, idolatrous worship of sports stars, etc. And the Bahamas have followed the path of an ungodly culture of sexual promiscuity and immorality.
The bloodshed and senseless murders, rapes, idolatry, and ignoring the call to REPENTANCE have angered God. He has been so good to us, yet we have been so wicked in return.
One of the greatest revelations that will forever bless you and I is coming to grips with the SOVEREIGNTY OF GOD! Meaning that God is in control and that absolutely nothing can happen without His permission or consent! Deuteronomy 28:20-21, ” The LORD shall send upon thee cursing, vexation, and rebuke, in all that thou settest thine hand unto for to do, until thou be destroyed, and until thou perish quickly; because of the wickedness of thy doings, whereby thou hast forsaken me. ”
The Scripture is totally coherent and unambiguous of what is now transpiring in the world today. Within the context of Scripture, God usually sends pestilences as a whip to chastise and to punish His people, including the gentile nations.
Why is it that we think that because we are in the dispensation of Grace, we have the presupposition that God winks at our callous transgressions without retribution? The sins of the world have flown up to the nostrils of the Most High God, and He will act to show all of us that He is still GOD!!
With just one disease, Coronavirus, we see the world is on her knees! The NBA shutdown! The MLB shutdown! Schools shutdown! There is a sense of hysteria that is worldwide and the only solution is JESUS CHRIST and His blood!
Imagine the coming tribulation period and the RAPTURE of the Church, and the chaos that will most certainly happen!
However, I hear the Holy Spirit saying that we MUST REPENT!!! Luke 13:3, “I tell you, Nay: but, except ye REPENT, ye shall likewise perish. “From the churches to the government, God is calling us all to CHANGE!
To the agnostics and secular humanists, He is calling us to REPENT! Listen, I’ve said before and I’ll say it again, that if I’ve learned anything from hurricane Dorian, is that we’ve not learned anything from hurricane Dorian. My Bahamian people, prayer changes things, but it must be accompanied by REPENTANCE!
